Galvanized nails or screws. I'll see if I have a bunch of screws. How long will the bunk board be?

Protect the glass from the wood.

Make sure u secure it from the underside of the bunk.... Not the top side where the boat hull will rest.
Seen a guy screw on his plastic bunkcover that came off ..... He did it on top. U could hear the screw rip thru the hull when he loaded it on the trailer. Ouch!!!!!!!!! |

Fire hose is more abrasive than carpet. Not good for fiberglass. Bolt board down with carrage bolts and sink them in good. S/S staples for carpet. use bunk carpet or second choice outdoor carpet. Do not use a plush carpet. Temporary use of board only is ok but cover it ASAP.
