Default Sunday Picnic

Went to our favorite Sunday spot for a lil sippin, fishin, and grillin. Had a real good time out there. Caught a few crabs and put em right on the grill along with some deer sausage. Caught some fish too. All in all a good day. We try to head to that spot every Sunday we can, so if ya'll ever wanna come hang with us, pm me. The more the merrier!!!

That would be awesome. I had my neck surgery on July 15 and it was a total success, boat has been parked and I haven't done anything all summer. Letting this fusion heal, I am hoping to hunt come November and hopefully chase some fish.

I just put em on the grill live. Put the lid on so they don't escape, and in about 10 minutes, they are done. Just plain crab. They get a little flavor from the smoke, but not much, basically, they turn out just simple and good. Everybody likes em.

Looks like there is a beach there. What do you all do, part the boat, fish and BBQ? That sounds like fun.

For a nice grilled crab treat try this.

Pop off the top shell of the crab while they are still alive (this will kill them instantly), Rinse out the guts (you can do that in some salt water, just let sand settle out) then put a good dab of butter where the guts used to be, sprinkle with a little italian seasoning and then onto the grill until done....

As strange as it might sound a dab of bbq sauce with the butter instead of the italian seasoning works real nice as well..

enjoy.
