Default Trim Tabs & Jack Plate

I would like to install Trim Tabs & a Jack Plate on my boat. Any recommendations as to which brands to go with would be greatly appreciated.

If you want a hyd jack get a bobs machine shop plate. If you want a non hyd I would get a cajun jacker made here in milton,la. I know him well and he makes a very solid plate.http://www.cajunjacker.net/

For the trim tabs the lenco's are good.

I have used Bennet electro/hydraulic trim tabs for 25 years on bigger boats, but after having used the Lenco on my bay boat, them things are super fast and work great also.
It is hard to change, but Lenco made me glad I did. The reaction time is about as quick as you want it to be.

love your screen name! Perfect for this place.

I use the lenco electric trim tabs....little cheaper than hyrdaulic and don't have to worry about keeping the fluids.

I like the bobs jack plates, but went with the CMC for price.

Do you see an increase in speed with the jack plate?? Also, did you get a manuel or hydraulic? Just wondering, I have 6" manuel jack plate on my boat.

Get the bobs. And get the blinker style switch. Not the pushbutton crap.
I got dual blinkers on mine. One for tilt/ trim and one for jack plate.
Love it!!
