Try adding a bottle of frozen water to cool the water. Might need several..... as the day goes on add another bottle. |

Ive found with shad back home that some of the oxygen powder and a bubble box helped a lot. As well as a bit of ice every now and then, especially in summer. Way to get a young one involved in the outdoors. Nice fish to boot!

We you fishing south or north. The lay downs or edge of grass? I fished the first canal t othe left if your headed down south of the bridge this Spring and did really well.
Also Fished Bayou Nep A K to the north also this spring and did well. Are you fishing with a cork or tightlining. How deep? Thanks Biggun |

Make sure the ice is in a sealed container the chlorine in tap water will kill da bait faster

Beautiful fish. Can you still dock at the big bridge on Hwy. 14? I haven't been there in a long time, the last time we used that dock it was in bad shape.
