Buddy and I made an afternoon trip and fished from about 3:30 to 7:30. Hit many spots and found decent water in most places. Tried to fish north pelba but some dude in a wake boat was messing us up. Wound out pullin 5 nice bass between the southern end of phillips and texaco. I caught three running a watermellon red superfluke thtough the grass and buddy caught 2 on a frog. water looked good just way to high. Gonna be a lot of grass to fight with when the water drops though. Bass fishing should be getting better in the next couple of weeks. Tried buzzbaits, jerkbaits, powerworms, brushogs, and senkos with no success.
