Default hopedale 5-29-10

hit hopedale with lucas and brad sat. made a quick stop at the end of the long rocks put a hand full of quality fish in the boat , but decided to run to the dope boat, you can see in the video i posted a scene of what looks like 40-50 rigs on the horizon, well that shrimp boats pulling skimmers for oil! so the dope boat plan scratched , ran back in hit some rigs in eloi not much to show for it so we made the run into black bay which paid off for lucas and brad as far as me lets just say i had an "OFF" day i think i lost more tackle from break offs than actual fish i landed !!!

check out in the video how thick the mullet were schooled up !! tons of mullet everywhere

We caught 24 decent trout in Lake Borgne. Going 26 mph it would take half the day to get to the sound. We caught as many reds as you wanted in the first left down Bayou La loutre. We were back at the marina by noon. Breton Sound Marina is a cluster with all of the oil people and the tards trying to launch. Let me know if you ever have an extra spot in the boat.
