Default Almost had my boat for sale!

Walked in the house from work, my wife says my boat stinks I need to clean it. I told her I cleaned it this weekend after fishing. I went outside, took the cover off and the smell hit me. I climbed in opened the fish box and saw a trout at the very back of the fish box I accidentally left. Maggats everywhere, I started gagging and thought of selling it as is. 2 Gallons of bleach and 1 hour scrubbing later I think the smell is gone.

We had a power outage at our little campground in Leeville. We returned after not being there for a couple of weeks and OMG. I will never keep bait shrimp in the freezer again. One guy in the campground duct taped his fridge closed and put it out to the road. Being that I didn't have that kinda money, I had to clean mine out.

I just went outside and can still smell it. I dumped more bleach and leaving the top open for the night. I have been considering using the fish box for storage and just using an ice chest well this just made up my mind. Will buy an ice chest before this weekend and strap in under my seat. Screw this. If the smell is there in the morning the boat is for sale!

Try dumping a bag of fresh coffee grounds in it and leave it a day or so. Truckers use that method to get the smell of chicken blood out of their reefers after a haul.
