it's the gauge.....I am using the LMF 400 with a DF 300 Suzuki

I had similar problems with the same setup. What batteries are you using? Do you have at least 1000 CA?
I was running 850 CA batteries and the gauges would work for one trip, then they went out. Once I changed over to bigger batteries, they have been working great. Last edited by YellaBlazer; 07-06-2010 at 01:47 PM. Reason: spelling like W |

thanks I will look into that..........
it pics up both EP 15's but will not read one.......it sees it but will not read it........wierd |

Exact same problem I had. Mine would read the stbd tank but not port.
Also, you can do a quick check to see if either the tank level sensor is bad or it's the EP 15. Disconnect the 2 wires from the tank sensor and touch them together. Your gauge should read full. If it doesn't, then it's probably the batteries. |
