Default Down in the Delta

A report from down in Buras. Had a trip on friday, so we headed to the east side of the river. With the river falling the bays and shorelnes closer to the river are cleaning up. The fish are making that move in that direction. Soon in the next few months the river should drop a lot and the fish should move into there late this summer early spring. The weather is skortching hot but we are able to get out a put together a nice box of fish before the heat really gets to you. The good thing is that you are not having to run around a burn a ton of gas. I have some more pics but they are on my phone and blackberry is having some kinda problem right now. So here are a few of friday. The fishing should stay good down here as the trout are still biting pretty good, and the redfish are great. Had to pass up two trips this weekend due to a wedding I had to attend in Mississippi. Have plenty of open days in july if someone is looking to get on the water. all fish were caught on white and chart jigs.
