The first platform to the left as you enter Grand Lake from the Intracostal had a lil spill there a few days ago. It was contained then some got loose and they had to get some more boats out there yesterday.

I didn't see anything. I usually pass thru mallard bay instead of fighting waves in the bay. I need to look into this tho. Thanks!

Don't know how much is left but they were still working it this morning. DEQ was at the landing Friday afternoon along with MillerE out of Texas. I met some boats going out Friday morning with booms and they kept on going and coming all weekend. The staging area was at the Plains dock next to the refuge.

The slick was over a mile long and about 300 yards wide. I was out into Mallard Bay, I saw a boat this morning pulling boom that had gotten loose from the area.
