Default Big Lake 8/22/10

started out this morning with calm winds but it did not stay like that for long, wind picked up pretty good and made the fishing a little tough for us, the water looked nice , we caught 9 trout and about 6 reds, 1 of the trout i caught today was 6 lbs and 27 inches long... 1 of my biggest trout, i caught 5 lb ers but never a 6 lb er also i got to fight a big drum for over 10 minutes , btw i caught the 6 lb trout in a hole that Chris Evans showed me a while back, thanks Evans.

thanks guys... yeah, 8 or 9 would be real nice to catch, i think i might put this one on the wall and i know there are bigger ones out there but in the 2 1/2 years i have been fishing this is my best trout, i have deer and ducks on the wall but no fish. i need a fish to add to my collection.

nice fish man!! We were out there saturday too but we only caught 6 keeper trout and a red. Had a few blowups on topwater, one about 5lbs came off halfway to the boat. But dude i got to see Big Lake's famous pink dolphin!!! That was FRIKIN AWESOME!! I seen pictures of it before, but the pictures do no justice on how pink that thing really is! She was just north of the pogie plant. I didn't stick around to get a picture, but that was awesome.

Is there a research team that documents her movements or something? There was a boat that looked like it was out to find that dolphin, when they did they were estatic! Jumping high fiving and everything.
