Default Big Lake 10-6-10 and 10-7-10

Was able to make a trip yesterday and today out in the lake. Weather was awesome and conditions were perfect. Birds working everywhere from south of Turners all the way to the Weirs. Found birds both days. Saw lots of boats catching shrimp and reds at the weirs if you feel like fighting the traffic.

Just a friendly reminder that the game wardens are out and they will give tickets for not using both front and rear running lights. (found out the hard way.)

Also if anyone happens to catch a speck with a curado 200 and Shimano rod attached to it just send it my way.

Default Nice doormat

So running lights on the bow and a pole light on the console are not enough, you have to have a stern light as well?? Never heard of that!

had bow light on but did not have stern light on. It was 650 in morning and assumed it was light enough to see. Game warden thought otherwise. Said it had to be on until legal sunrise.

Dad caught my my Superflats rod and Abu reel last weekend and it didn't come back! Lol!!! The rod was still a good one but I had to laugh! Had the combo since 04 and I was talking about retiring it anyway. He felt terrible and my sides hurt from the laughter!
