Default Prien 11/12 & V-Bay 11/13

Fished Prien area with a couple of first time yak fisherman. We managed to get about keepers in the Cooler and lot in the yak that got free. All fish were caught on 1/4oz spoons with steady retrieve. Those guys are hooked now.

Saturday morning fished in the yak from Cyp Pt in V-Bay first stop the Cove with about 100 other boats. Water was good and everbody seemed to be catching a some. Not fast action but the trout were really nice size. Slow retrieve on bottom with glow/chart plastics. Caught enough to fill the back of my yak.

First 3 pics from Friday Prien other 3 Saturday V-Bay

Default Saturday

I was in a Hobie Peddling yak Sat. Most of the time I was in the cove I was BSing with some guys I knew in a 21ft Bay boat then headed out around 9:30am to ck out another spot while the fish were biting to see if the exact location really mattered. It didn't, caught just as good away from the crowd.
I am not with any club, just fishin for fun.
