Default Leeville Nov 27 2010

Woke up and the temp was 49 and the wind was blowing pretty good. I should have rolled over and went back to sleep but my wife and kids wanted to go fishing and I will only be home for two weeks. Not really sure if I will get another chance to go until Jan due to work so we headed out.

Made it down to Leeville and put in. With this cold weather and wind I did not hold much hope for specks so I just bought bait shrimp from Terry's.

First stop of the day is one of my favorite spots in the Marsh North of Leeville East of Little Lake. As soon as we arrived and dropped anchor we were onto Reds. None to big but plenty of keepers. Caught our 4 person limit in an hour along with the first flounders I caught this year. Ended up catching a total of 32 Reds kept 20 and 8 keeper Flounders. Back to the dock and heading home at 1030 AM. Not bad for a day I didn't really even want to get out of bed!

By the way NO ONE at the dock had caught much. One and two here and there. I had 20 people come by while cleaning fish asking questions. If there is anything better than catching limits of fish it is doing so while no one else can! LOL
