Default Dec 4, Turners Bay

Bite was on in the morning until the wind picked up about 10:30. We ended up with 27 specks and one flounder. Just could not catch 3 more but we tried hard. Only one throw back under 12" most fish were good size. All caught on glow and char. sand eel JR.

nice fish ! we caught about 10 trout today in turners. we got in turners about an hour before the wind kick us out, i wish we would have been there earlier but we had to try out a few other hot spots! all our trout were 20-17in, some solid fish. the sheepshead sure were bitting today in turners to, we caught more of them than trout ! lol they sure put up a good fight to.

It's great to see a youngster enjoying himself. I usually use Norton sand eels jrs. but the past 2 times I have used Hackberry Hustlers and have had trout limits both times. I had to stay at Turner's until 1:30 to get my limit yesterday and then it was catch and release. I was surprised with the bite with the wind and the waves picking up like they were, but the water remained good color.

Thanks for posting.
