Default LOW tide

WOW! Who pulled the plug on Big Lake? Was kick'n up mud shooting the gap b/w turners and pelican point...stopped on the channel to see if tide had started to come in on the way home and it was still ripping out..(not much water left)..Has it been like this as of late?
