Default 2-12-11 Fishing Report

Woke up late this morning and my and the girlfriend decided to go fishing hit the water about 1:30 and off to Tha Weirs were we picked up a quick limit and played catch and release for a while. Water temps were up in the high 40s and everything was caught on Gulp pearl Pogys
Good day but ready for some good trout action!

East side of the lake from Pelican Point to NE Turners and on West side from South of Texaco Cut to Turners.
Water was super clear. We could see Oysters and shell everywhere we went.
If the water was under 3' deep, we could see the bottom.

We shoulda hit the Reds. But for some reason, we wanted Trout.
Got out the house and ran the boat. Better than watching TV.

Nice job, great day to be on the water. Being able to sleep in and still catch fish is always a plus.
