Default Surface drive boats

I am thinking of buying some type of surface drive boat and motor combo. I don't know much about them, so any feed back would be much appreciated.

From what I hear mud buddy an gatortail are the better choices. But that's motor. I'm not sure what boats they are offered on.

Mudbutty is junk, buy a louisiana product!
Gatortail or prodrive with their boats for max performance! Plenty of test drives out there.

Mudbuddys are fast but break often. Prodrive or gator tail. For the money they are asking for both of their boats u can get one custom made. Go to mudmotortalk.com. They have all the info u could ever want.

Everyone has different needs when it comes to boats and surface drives are no different. Check them out and see what fits your needs the best. For us its Gator Tail. They tend to be better for fishing than the other motors on the market. We use ours more for shallow water redfishing than anything else, but we do frog and duck hunt with em too and those things are a beast in the mud and veggies.

MUDBUDDY is TRASH. Owned one and absolutely hated it. Broke on me countless times. finally after about 5 months I sold it and bought a Gatortail. Loved it. had no problems with it and worked great. I had a gator trax boat and I loved that even more than the motor. it was a tank and handled awesome

id have to say gator tail goes through a good bit cause of the long shaft but isnt as smooth as the prodrive because of the steer torque and the prodrive full power reverse is a beast. you really cant go wrong with either one.
