gonna be windy ... try around little lake or the fornation islands in North tim bay if the wind lays down... if yer feeling balsy run to the islands farther south and get behind em to the north (lee side) i know for a fact that there is trout at the islands right now

A couple of ideas if it stays windy. Run the inside bayou (Grand Bayou Blue?) north towards Catfish lake. Not sure where Dink went... Lots of protected cuts and broken marsh (east of Bayou Blue through Lake Laurier) that holds up well in the south wind. Also do not ignore Bayou Lafourche itself just north of the oilfield complex at Port Fourchon. We have done well this time of year on trout and reds in the bayou itself working flats looking for bait and pelicans working. Good luck.

Yea you right about Bayou Lafourche...very good fish bottom carolina rigged with some minnows or roll artificials off ledges. Secret to leeville is east side gets cleaner first. Depending on wind...if its a south wind and it pushes clean water in then fourchon area is your ticket ...love high water always do good on specs. Low water is what kills the bite down there.Im gonna go to some places that usually produce on windy days...if I can get to islands I will be there at daybreak.

Did Leeville today found clean water and they were on until noon. Good day on the water kids and wife had blast catching and releasing . Kept 30 and released at least 30 more.
