15-20 mph winds won't give up! Guess the fishing gods are telling me to fish the basin?

It's relentless here too. Needs to let up as the surf water here is close to 80 degree; trout should be showin up.
Had to cancel my trip to Galveston today. Just not worth it to frustrate myself. I was bringin' a couple of greenhorns wit me and I wanted to turn em on to catchin a few.

I have not been saltwater fishing in 3 months...going off the bank in grand chenier in the morning,hell with it.

South winds around 20 knots. Bay waters rough.
Wednesday
South winds 20 to 25 knots becoming southwest 15 to 20 knots in the afternoon. Bay waters very rough decreasing to rough in the afternoon. A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms.
Wednesday Night
West winds 10 to 15 knots becoming north after midnight. Bay waters choppy.
Thursday
