Default Falcon info

A buddy here PM'd me to ask my opinion about Falcon rods. I think he was leary about posting another "rod" thread for fear it'd end in another pissin' contest. I suggested he look into the BuCoo but I've never used them. Can some of you guys that own a BuCoo or other Falcon rods give him some perspective? He's looking to use soft plastics, topwater and jerks. Apparently, he is not interested in any other brand so let's keep this thread on topic.

Bucoo is a good rod it could use some more guides but the blanks are the best and I really like the eva split grips. nothing wrong with spending a little more and getting the cara, which I've heard people haven't had any warranty problems with the cara's like they have with the originals with getting rod replacements.

I have a 6' 6" medium action bucco and it has become my favorite rod. VERY light and sensitive,I will be buying more in the future. IMO it is the best rod for your money, still made in USA unlike most rods in in the 100 dollar range.

There ya geaux, Bluechip.

I have every Falcon except the BuCoo. The Cara, Expert, Cenderi, Low Rider, Coastal and even the Original are all made with Falcon quality.....in the USA.

I have 3 of the 7' BUCOO.

To me, for 100 bucks you cannot beat this rod, especially if like split grips.

Default warranty?

do they offer an over the counter warranty? i'm not talking about replacing a rod that i've stepped on or crushed in the truck door, but if there's a blank failure...will they warranty their rods?

Best deal I've ever seen on a rod was last year when Falcon discontinued "there" ML series of the Cenderi ti. A Cara blank and titanium hardware for $99. Lots of guys here got in on a great deal.
