Default 5/6/11 afternoon top bite...

had a buddy in and he was dead set on fishing, wind was kicking out of the SW and tides were slack. I wanted to cook, drink beer and watch a great big lake sunset off our back porch, he wanted to fish, so off we went about 6pm, Got to secrete spot #1 and it was on from the start. We got a quick two man limit, all on top, skeeter walkers, unreal bite, they were smashing it! 3ft of water. we slung trout till dark thirty just for the fun of it. You can't plan stuff like that, it just happens! If the lake would slick off for a few days it's crazy too think what kind of fish could be caught...
