Dularge/cocodrie report 5-19-11

Started out Thursday morning with Chris Butler and crew. Guys wanted trout and trout is what we were after. We made it offshore and checked four locations finding dirty water everywhere. High winds, dirty water and zero trout wanting to bite. Tough day and conditions is a understatement. What a day makes as Wednesday it didn't matter where you were, everyone limited out. It didn't take us long to decide to head in and call the trip. We rescheduled the trip for a better day when we can get on the trout. Thanks guys, I look forward to fishing with you in better conditions!
Headed to Cocodrie for a afternoon trip with Lonnie Barr and crew. Hit the marsh for a couple hours catching reds and puppy drum. The guys had fun and so did I. Made it back to the camp before sun down to a great meal prepared by Shawn Whitney. Shawn worked his magic as usual and we all went To bed with full bellies!!!!!
