Evening run to big lake 8/2
Made the run to big lake today... launched at Spicers and headed north. Got to turners bay around 3:30pm. Made a few casts. Piccked up a nice 3 lb flounder. Bite turned off. Went to another spot in big lake, picked up a few "W" trout. Dad was fishing with the stinky stuff. P/U a 5.38lb sheepshead and a 19" black drum. Well, here came the potlickers... had 30 boats on me in 5 minutes. Boy I was pi$$ed. Bite turned off after they all came. "W"'s friends need to go find someone else to POTLICK !!! Boat ran like a top. Wind was 10-20+. Tide was flowing like the contraflow on I-10 (slow). Water visibility was 3-7".
No pics, sorry left camera in truck.

jfran, We fished there till about noon. Bait fish everywhere, no shrimp. Nothing but lady fish around the birds.
Caught a few small specks, 5 keeper reds and a big sheephead. No wind early morning but picked up about 9:00, pretty clean water.
