Default Trip with BL Guide Service *7/8*

Cuz booked a trip with the Poe's and invited me to go. Couldn't pass it up, b/c you can always learn something fishing with a pro. Well, we fished with Harrison, and we had a ball. Lots of inappropriate conversations were had, and cuz was hitting the beer before daylight to nurse his hangover. I haven't laughed that hard in awhile. The tide was weak, and the bite slowed down mid morning. SW winds with a brief change when winds shifted to the north (only to shift back to the SW; ***?). We fished some reef on the west side of the lake with sand eels (chicken on a chain / glow chart). Had lots of slicks popping up around us, but we could only get one or two per slick. Didn't get our 4 man limit, but we stuck a few nice trout. Threw back lots of sand trout. Ended the day with about 30 specs. All the other guides did about the same. Fun day on the lake.

Yeah.....cool guy......except for his predilection for those Auburn Tigers or War Eagle or whatever the hell they are.

He got a pass, however, for putting us on some nice trout
