Reef @ SW pass

Hi Guys!!! Was running about 5;30 AM. Got 2 the reefs dirty, Moved back inside the pass . Good water. Caught a few small trout. Half doz. about 13-14". Went east!! Dirty! About 9:30 decide to head out 10 miles.

Got in good water, hook up to a wellhead first cast 3# trout. Caught 3 in first 5 minutes. Stopped about 1 PM. had 25 between 2 people. Would catch 2-3 then they would stop.

We'd double up. The nothing for 15 minutes, then cast in opposite direction. Then catch 1-2 trout.

We picked away @ them. Had enought @ 1 pm. It was bouncey today.

Guys If you have the boat, don't enough stop @ the reefs.

Go out to Tigher shoals, Verm. 31, 52, 51, 233. The trout are there.

Tomorrow I'l have liveys to try to get them to bite.

It was slim pickings at the reefs today. I knew you would find a few out there. We packed it in at noon.

Tim, he told me he caught a dozen or so,and a good bit of throwbacks.Think they stayed mostly closer to the reefs. Said it was a lil rough and rainy.
