Flew back from Vegas yesterday. Does anyone know what these circles are?

i would have to say farmers feilds and they have that big long watering system that goes in a circle watering the feild... idk? just my guess

Bingo! When ya fly over KS, they are everywhere. They are pretty impressive setups. VERY LONG aluminum pipes are attached to an axis and very slowly move across the field providing much needed water.

Yea its irrigated crops, pretty cool how things look from the air. Its realy strange to see how strait crops are planted and when you get in areas how it looks when they plant on hills and the crop follows the contour

Thats what it is. center pivoits Have been watering. its been so dry here anything that geets water you can see for miles in a plane.

Its crop circles, google it! Get em in Europe often, never seen one over here though, but you were close to Area 51

No but we did get to see the hangar and all the jets the gov't pays for to fly people to and from area 51. Makes you sick.

Most of those are probably alfalfa fields... most farmers in those areas use pivot irrigation systems for alfalfa fields
