Default Late Weekend Report

Went to the Point Saturday morning after hearing a few reports of some fish being caught during the week. Waited in the truck for 1.5hrs for the storm to subside and watch the water rise and fall 8-10 inches a couple of times which was really wicked to see. Anyway finally make the decesion to head out went to the Island caught some bait and ran through the Island to the Keys. My brother who was in his boat picked up 4 Reds right away, my boat nothing. Left and hit a few reefs headed West, caught 1 Red. Went to Diamond pretty green water, but NO FISH, went to Pavy's Reef, NO FISH........ Went to a flat inside the Pass and finally caught a few 9 Reds and Two Flounder. Not bad but did a lot of riding around.

No doubt! I made a few trips like dat and it is not fun when the weather kicks up. Got stuck in a BAD storm a few years ago coming in from tee butte. As soon as we got into the bay from the pass it was a black wall with instant white caps. Nice catch duckfreak. Did yall fish in oyster or ferme at all?

No we didn't fish in oyster or femen at all. I try not to get caught in those bad ones, I spend more time looking for storms than fishing some days, don't won't to put my boys in any kind of dangerous situation. Mother Nature has a horrible bed side manner when she gets upset, so I usually run long before they get to me.
