Default Looking for the Big One on BL.

Well brought one of my fishing partners out to see if we could land a MONSTA TROUT or a TAGGED RED....We left out of Calc Point at 5:45 sat morning and went straight to the HOLE...Caught a nice 3lb and nothing else went to the second HOLE and my buddy was throwing a BONE SUPER SPOOK and has never caught a trout on top water and first throw land a 5lb that flew out of the water and she put a show on all the way to the boat, took pics and high fived..Continued to fish picking up some super small trout and around 4 we decided to head back in and took the long way around through the lake where we ended up in Turners Bay with about 10 other boats where we were all within 20 feet apart trolling after these HUNGRY REDS that were BOILING and I mean BOILING the top....managed to catch around 30 reds in about 1 hour just chasing the schools...Marc H that was with me landed his biggest trout to date a 5.5lb in the schools of reds on a glow sparkle beetle..Everything was caught on glow beetles and tidal surge splits...

sounds like a damn good shot at some big time money! You got some nice trout and cycled through a decent amount of reds. You gotta find the barely 16 inch reds though, the last two tagged reds caught looked 15 7/8" lol
