Default Fish kill around holly beach??

I co-worker just told me that he went to the beach yesterday with his wife to look for shells as they do about every weekend. He said the beach was piled up with dead amberjack, a few reds, and a dolphin. Has anyone heard anything about this? He said they walked about 2 miles of beach east of Holly towards jeddies and they saw them the whole time.

He also said he saw some type of whale in the shallow water close to the shore. He couldnt identify it 100% but said it was roughly the size of a killer whale with dark skin. He said they walked along side it for awhile. Any thoughts on that?

Yeah, W caught, tagged and released one like that the other day!

Hopefully whatever it is, doesn't turn into a major fish kill.

Red tide will kill lotsa fish. Not just a few in an 8 mile area.
Most would get eaten before getting to the beach.
Lots of Dolphin along the beaches right now.
Too many free meals.
I thought AJ's sounded odd too.
