Cheers Monday Evening Trout Action 10-17-11

Made a quick afternoon trip on Monday with Chris Venable, Grady Verret, and Tony Fontenot. We fished for about 2 1/2 hours putting a nice box of 13-17 inch specks together. We Fished birds with artificial baits under a cork. Cocodrie Cocahoes in glow/Chart was the top producer with the Shiney Hiney Chris was throwing coming in second!! I lost count of the fish I caught and only had to change one bait. Cocodrie Cocahoes have proven their durability and catching ability over and over. I would of easily gone through a dozen or more tails if I was using another soft plastic. Great times and great company, thanks guys for another successful trip. Chris is 3 for 3 in his new boat!!!
Looks like this front coming through tonight should make the trout bust loose!!

Capt Bill was fishing with Phil and Todd in their Haynie. I saw them launching yesterday morning. That boat was fine. It was one hell of a set-up.
