One thing is for sure, them things are loud. Sneak up quick, then blow you away with their sounds

I was in lafeyette wednesday and I was watching them fly by the apartment complex that I clean carpet at. off Pinhook. it was definitely a sight to see that thing flew by a least 10x.

I used to live near the airport and those F-18s would almost knock out my windows. I can't imagine what it would sound like if they were flying over in a war zone. That would intimidate the hell out of anyone.

I got to fly in one of the Thunderbird F-16s about 25 years ago. It was a hoot and a half. We took off from Chenault and climbed 12,000 feet straight up in just a few seconds. I got to fly the plane and do a couple of barrel rolls. I still have the video of that somewheres. Because of the pressure suit, I didn't lose my lunch, unlike my flight in an A-37 when I puked all over the cockpit and the pilot sitting next to me.

Most probably a T-6 Texan advanced trainer, they are "plentiful" as far as that type aircraft go...

I didn't get to go this year. First time I have missed in a long time. What kind of camera are you using? Excellent pics.
