Cheers Trout and Bass on Sunday 10-30-11

Day 2 with Randy, Tyler, Brooks, and Brandon Davis. Winds were calmer on Sunday, we started where we found the trout on Saturday but they were not there. Hit a huge flock of birds--zero bites. I moved over to a reef and it was game on! Everyone in the boat was reeling in the trout. When the bite shut down we checked several other locations only picking up 1-3 trout per stop. We all took a vote and decided to go hit the bass again. No sooner than we pulled up we had the bass coming in from every direction!! Cocodrie Cocahoe soft plastics put the hurt on the trout under a cork, and on the bass tight-lined (with or without a spinner). No other bait needed in the boat!! One last stop before the guys had to get back and we picked up a couple puppy drum and one 15 pound BIG NASTY drum that was released. It was great fishing with Randy again and meeting his sons. Look forward to our next trip Randy and hopefully we will have better conditions!!
