Factory speakers in doors need to be replaced. I just did this in a 2007 Silverado. Guy at the audio shop said he does 2 per week on 07 chevys.

My wife has an 07 Tahoe and that's just one of the many problems we've had with it. That's why she'll be driving a new Expidition soon!

The fact that it is an '07 Chevy is the problem. I've got an '07 Silverado that has been to the dealer 17 times for issues. Had to get the whole onboard computer system replaced a couple years ago. The only reason I still have it is because it's still under warranty. Your speakers are most likely the problem and need to be replaced.

I had the same problem with my 07. Replaced door speakers twice before I realized the gasket around the door was really the problem. When it rained, gasket leaked, got speaker wet, and never would play right again. Been over two years with new door gaskets and no more speaker probs... Yet.

My work truck is a 07 half ton. 173k on it and only problems was ball joints up front. I notice it's shifting hard from first so I don't give the transmission long but I pull a lot of heavy trailers so it's expected. The speakers are bose and never had problems with them.
