Default Lake Fausse Pointe

Does anyone bass fish this area? I would like to go there some days after work, but I can't find any launches on google earth. Where are they and if you have any tips on areas or baits that they like, I'd appreciate it.

you can also pay $1 to get in the state park and launch in there, should be able to get on some bass all around the state park, also a ramp at the end of lake dautrive road, and marshfield landing via blackline road and marshfield road off of the loreauville hwy

I'm not familiar with the area, which one do you think would be the closest to new iberia and still have good fishing grounds around it. I see the state park landing. Do i need to really watch where I'm running or can i run in most open water? I just have a small express

no wake zone all over the state park(paddle boat trail), closest to new iberia would be marshifield, you can beat the north bank west or east, do not go straight out the canal once you get to the lake, once you get to the lake you MUST head east or west, if you run straight out through the little islands you will be in a bind, got some cypress trees and a few small canals up the north west bank, kind of tricky when the water is low, some really shallow area but the row everyone passes is marked with some signs and pvc pipe, stay along there and you will be fine, but the better fishing will probably be around the state park

There is a landing at the end of Marshfield Road near Teche Lake Canal. It cost $2.00 per day but has a good landing with plenty of parking. And as Dink was implying, don't just run out in the open water of the lake, you will be surprised. If you have not been there before you may want to go with someone that has, it is a tricky place. If you dock at the State Park, you shouldn't have much problems any of the canals around there.

Stay out of my hole baw! Well as long as you leave the sacalait alone it's cool. Launch at the state park and fish the pits and oilfield canals. Stay out the main lake if you don't know where to run.
