Anybody remember mr legnon at the point? Had only one arm, a nub for the other... Never stopped him from fishing. Made a trip with him years ago, was fishing on "The Warrior." One of the bikini's on board says "OMG" and turns beet red... We all look toward the cabin...old man has that rod tucked under his nub, rod bowed in half, reeling in a snapper.....and at the same time had his ****** hangin out taking a leak! A true old salt!!!!

I grew up next door to a man that had one arm, from a plant accident.
He had altered all his fishing rods so that he could use them w/ his stump.
he had a prosthesies that was a hook that he used the upper muscles in his body to control the opening and closing of the hook.
He drilled a hole in the fore arm of his deer rifles that the hook would fit into and it was like he was shooting off a vise. his whole upper body was holding the gun steady.
Garfish would probably remember him?

Default Mr Legnon

Saw Mr. Legnon nailing some boards down on a pier one time at the point with that one arm. Made me think--how'd he do that. I'd like to have the perseverance and skills this man had to do the things he did with only one arm.

I will. Plan on launching in Lake Verett and making the round through Stevensville and back. Probably going to stop at Gros Marina for a while
