To tell the truth, I'm not sure what the differnece is my self. I haven't had a chance to research the non-TX edition. All I know is this one had what I wanted and a price tag I was willing to pay

It isn't a big difference.
I had the gmc sierra texas edition. Back up sincers and leather steering wheel, Power folding side mirrors. A friend of mine had the same truck it just the crome package.

If it is a new truck, don't forget to breaki in the engine before you tow a boat with it. I just bought a new F-150 and the manual recommends 1,000 mile break in period before towing. But I decided to wait until around 1500-2000 when I will do my first oil change and then will be all set for towing.

Beautiful truck by the way.

read owners manuel...towing section...I bet it tells you not to tow anything the first 500 to 1000 miles. I know my chevy 4X4 did.

I have same truck except it is not the tx edition.
