When I get new cards I look for the ones that are interest free for 12 mos ect... But I very rarely use a card . I need to start paying all my company bills on one so I can rack up on miles

Kind of what I am looking to do. Use it instead of debit card and pay off every month.

You can get one from chase and you get 350$ if you spend 1k in the first 3 months then it's a 1% cash back system after that 5% back on gas. Can't get it in the branches only online. No interest for 6 mo maybe a year not sure

I love my chase freedom card. Earn 1% on everything and 5% on revolving categories. Right now its gas and amazon. I always use my points to redeem statement credits or amazon gift cards. Unfortunately ive had a lot of cards in the past but this is the best one ive run across for rewards.

I swtiched to the southwest card when i was building my house. Got 2 free flights when I signed up and by the time I finished the house I had 6 free flights. Since then I average 2 free flights a year from the card and 2 from frequent flyers miles. It is nice being able to fly instead of drive 10 hours with a 3 and 5 year old.

We have a discover card that is through Sam's Club. However we can use it to make purchases anywhere. We use it to make sure all of our supplies and purchases for the snow cone stand are on the same bill every month. Just bought a new home computer with the rewards money. This may be a business card though I think.

I was thnking of doing this as well, between gas, groceries and other bills we use our debit card with we spend around $1200 a month. I'm sure I could make some points but we would have to be deciplined enough to pa it off every month.

Yeah I would do good for a few months then slip once , all downhill after that!! Start buying cool stuff and have a big ole balance, I've seen me do it.

Capital one has a venture card that you can get double miles on but I think there is a annual fee. They also have some with no annual fee.
