Depends on the size of your head. I like the blue mirror 580 lens though.

I have one pair and I love the lenses but not the frames. I have a habit of putting them on my hat when I go inside and it stretched the frames open so now when they are on my face and I look down they fall off. Oakleys have never done that.

If you do a search of the website for "costa", I am sure you can find some more info. We have had this conversation a million times. Its all personal prefference. Everyone will say something different. Gotta go try them on and see what you like. As far as lenses go, I say blue mirror on really sunny days and amber/vermillion on overcast days.

Trip tails have metal spring hinges so they don't slide off. I like the blue 580 lense. Go try every pair on before u buy and see what fits best.

Where is the best place to find a good selection and try them on? I have seen some at Academy, do they carry the best styles? By the way, I live in Deridder.

Default Costas

Do yourself a favor and get the 580 lenses ( made of real glass). They resist scratches much better than the 400 lenses (made of poly carbonate). the weight difference bs the 400 and 580's is negligible (most glass lenses are a bit heavier) I like the blue mirrored lenses but a lot of people like the green mirrored lenses--your preference I guess. I think you may get better depth perception when on the water with the blue. Frames are going to be a personal choice--you need to try a few pair on and see which ones fit your head, nose ears the best. Do not buy a pair without trying on different style frames first IMHO. I like the fathom frames because they fit my head well and I can wear them all day long without my ears or nose hurting.

If you like the Fathom then check out the Man-O'-War as well. Very comparable. Man-O'-Wars do well on a smallish head. TWSS.
