Thanks

It's gonna be hard fishing until the water goes down and clears up. I haven't had much luck since we started getting all the rain. Hopefully it will get better soon. Plan on making a few trips and trying my luck when I come in.

FlagUS Eagle

I have only seen the Eagle down by the intracoastal closer to the lacassine pool area. Saw a pair south of Jennings around the Andrus Cove area for Thanksgiving, they were awesome to watch sore around.

Where was the houseboat moored? I only know of one houseboat that was a main residence for a man that has it parked at the dock.

The guy who use to own the camp next to ours use to fish there for the spawn and showed me his spots in there. We use to catch some nice ones. Ours camps have the double boat house on Morgan Shores just west of the yacht club where the trees are just out from the warf.

Hey fellas what do y'all think about the spawn this year? I figure with all the high water and no one catching much they had to have spawned deep in the swamps. It should make for a jam up season in about 3 years.

You know hanks I heard the old men talking the other day and thy were saying the river was (flipped). I asked them to elaborate and what they said was, the water that's supposed to be at the top is at the bottom and that's why the river is so muddy. I figured it had alot to do with the rain and farmers draining their fields but you know those old folks have been around for a while. They said it flips every few years and messes up all the p.h. and the fish won't bite. Also said once it gets back right we should smoke em. Have any of you guys ever heard of anything like that?
