Default VB Sunday afternoon

Wish I could give a great report...however, sea breeze winds, muddy water and a bad mojo left us with little to bring home. We did have a great time being on the water with my son and his wife, my brother-in-law, Capt Steve, and his nephew Spence. Bar-b-que'd at the point for lunch then headed out under calm conditions. I would have bet a large sum of money that we where goin to smoke'em on the reefs...shows what little i really know..I'm humbled once agin! But I ain't gonna give up just yet.

I hear ya, Saturday morning when got out of the Quintana I was like OK, where did that big West Wind come from????? Crazy thing about it was, when we hit the gulf it was pretty calm..... I hope the trout make that Memorial Day migration inside like they have done the past couple of years..... if the water would clear up!

It will happen soon! Salinity is taken off in the right direction. There is some clearing at the cove; just a tad! Dry reef looks like the River....
If you want to hit the wells off shore you'll find trout..I'm lazy, gave up on well fishin' several years ago...like just fishin' the reefs. My time is comin'!!!!
