Red Tuna Shirt Club is proud to announce our May shirt: Searcher Sportfishing from San Diego, CA!







Searcher operates one of the top long-range boats out of San Diego's Fisherman's Landing and makes seasonal trips down the Baja coast. Trips range from 1.5 to 10 days, with itineraries including world-famous Baja spots including San Benito, Cedros, Guadalupe, and Alijos Rocks.





Typically the boat will fish along the way for bluefin tuna, yellowfin tuna, albacore and dorado, and make various stops at bottom spots for yellowtail, white sea bass and calico bass.

The boat itself is air-conditioned throughout and well equipped to accomodate anglers on the longest exursions. Fourteen cabins sleep two or three anglers each and have storage shelves, sinks, mirror, and a 110-volt AC outlet. There are four restrooms, two showers, and a large indoor dining and relaxing salon so anglers can cruise in comfort when they're not fishing.

Of course, Searcher is also a fishing machine, with tanks that can carry 250 scoops of bait for plenty of casts, and a 10-ton freezer to safely store fish. State-of-the-art electronics such as GPS, sat phone, radar, color-scanning sonar, depth sounder and more keeps the crew in touch and on top of the fish.
