FACT 6 The world record speckled trout weighed 17 pounds, 7 ounces and was caught by angler Craig Carson in the Fort Pierce, Fla. area. You hear little about trout fishing in Florida due to the popularity of their snook and tarpon but they do produce some extremely large fish.

could you imagine? i think id rather catch a 18lb trout than win the powerball .

Check out Bud Roland he is the man, ties his flys and spot fishes trophy trout from his boat tower. If you haven't fished the Luguna Madre its a must crystal clear water and hugh trout.
