Default any blazer or s10 owners?

I have a 2000 blazer 2wd 4.3 this is my second blazer ive owned. Ive towed alot with it bur nothing over 1000lbs. Right now I use it for my 1648 fisher. Im just curious what yall have towed with yours. I might be pulling a wellcraft 18cc with a 115 Yamaha about 50 miles and just want to know what to expect as its a pretty heavy boat

Go for it, that is a 350 with 2 cylinders cut off. You can pull that all day everyday without an issue other than the toungue weight.

Default go

you got that man go for it, the 4.3 is a beast, pulling it shouldn't be a problem, only issue would be suspension, if you don't have the towing package, just be careful when you hook it up to your truck you should be able to tell if it squatting too much, after you hook it up check make sure your suspension isn't bottomed out or close to it, you can check it by standing on your rear bumper and bouncing it up and down, if you bottom it out like this then you don't want to pull it down the highway it will bounce going down the highway

My Grand-Father had a mid-90's Jimmy with tow package. He had no problem towing his old bass boat.
