Anyone fish the lake this past weekend or early this week? Heading out tomorrow and just wondering if anyone knows where dem specks are? I will post and let everyone know how we do. Probablly gonna fish around the ship channel and west cove maybe ??? Any info would be appreciated. I promise to leave a few in the water!

Keep us posted for sure. Been looking for reports but haven't seen any. Sounds like you have a good plan. Nest of luck!

Supercut is the first cut to the lake coming from Spicers. Afternoon bite has been good on a OG tide.

No.... Nine mile is further south. Coming from ship channel from the north it the first cut into the lake from the lake it's first cut out of lake from long point.

Well fellas,to begin with the weather man was wayyyyyyy off yesterday as always. 5-10 turned into 15-20 and we got chased off of the lake around noon. Ended up with 5 specks and a white trout. Caught the fish all over the lake actually. Some in West Cove, 9 mile cut, Basket Reef, and the old jetties. The water looked really good from 9 mile cut all the way to the old jetties. Damn south wind would not let the tide out and the bite never really turned on. Not for us anyways............

Chenier reefs? I've been off big lake a couple of years. I guess I need to get up to speed.

Don't feel bad man I don't know *** he is talking about either, LOL ! Never went that way either. Left basket reef and crossed the lake to fish 9 mile. Bgizzle are you talking about the reefs outside of the bayous on the east bank?

No they are 3 artificial reefs east of the old jetties made up of crushed limestone. In between the old Jeffries and the east bank
