Ok so I'm taking my dad to big lake Saturday morning. We will launch at calcasieu point targeting reds and specks. Any advice on where they at and how to catch them would be greatly appreciate

I'm probably not the best source Tank, but I've just seen some reports lately that some of the guides are catching trout down on the south end of the lake and around either side of the jetties. I haven't been lately, so I can't say from experience. Baitwise, they mentioned the usual suspects...Hope it helps, and give us a report when you get back!
