Awesome story on MSN today. 9 pm last night in Florida 2 guys tried to rob a Dollar General. One customer in store and 2 employees, one robber grabbed register while other grabbed employee. The only customer in store whom was 57 years old had a cc permit and took gun and killed one robber while other one ran. Come to find out 57 year old was competition marksman. No charges were filed according to MSN.com

For those of you who are recently got out of the military. You don't have to go through the class. Just apply. I found out and was 2 months over the 5 year period they give you.

I got out 9 years ago so I'm way over the limit. I think I'd rather take the class anyway. Military training doesn't really apply to civilian CCW IMO. The more I think about it the less I like the idea of that. Seems like it could be setting up some vets to get themselves into trouble down the road.

I could see former MPs getting to skip the class though.
