Yep, we went today. Caught a few rat reds by the point and lots of croakers. Water was nice in the morning, but got dirty by the afternoon. Wind was horrible!

Sat it was rough and muddy all the way to southwest pass. All the reports of pretty water had me scatching my head. Went to the marsh and it was muddy coming out by game wardens camp. Just need winds to die down for a few days.

West side seems to stay muddy more often....I think it has to do with the constant barge traffic and vermillion river discharge.

water was very pretty around east end, and it got you out of the strong W/NW winds. We caught some fish working the area between the mouth of Bayou Blanc and South Pt.
