Don't over think it. It's just teal. Black coke bottles would work

Dove mojos are the ticket for teal. Easy to carry and work perfect.

We hunted with 2 or 3 teal decoys a couple of seasons ago and limited out in about 30 minutes.

I don't expect to have a problem getting a limit. I want my little boy to shoot one on the water with his new .410 and was wondering if teal decoys versus big duck decoys would be better to get the to light so he can pop one.

Do it big boy!!! Ok let's be legit here. Y'all really think a teal buzzing grass hieght fly 60mph when he sees water and black objects they will shy away from a big mojo? So when y'all hunt big ducks and use bug mojos no teal decoy they flare? C'mon man them birds are curious and high energy they just tryin to see what's poppin and if they were there before eating and other birds smelled it on em when they roost they gonna follow. It's like you when your following a buddy in the woods you saying you sure this is it? That's them circling making sure its the same spot and everything is gravy and if they see odd movement from a "bush" they think "predator" just like you early am in da woods you hear a noise no one on here can say you heart don't race or makes the hair on ya neck stand up. Not being rude just my .02

I hear ya. Ive seen over 100 decoy at least 15x on big mojos. I think it depends on wher you hunt more than the mojo personally. No offense bro just my opinion.

I don't use mojos for big ducks. But the dove works great for teal and doves.

I don't always put them out for big duck season, but i always bring them it all depends on how the birds are acting that day if i put them out. If they just aren't finishing the way i want them too i'll put one out and alot of times that little extra flash makes them committ alot better. I always use them during teal season, cause they suck to them like a magnet.

Right you are. In the marsh I find the robo works really well for teal. I don't use them for big duck season. I've seen very high flying flocks of teal fall out the sky into a spread using a robo in the marsh.

BTW, use some pintail sprig decoys...the white flashing color really helps on teal. I use 1/3 teal, 1/3 mallard hen and 1/3 spirgs. About 36 total.
