Default Da yak n Da Bay

Launched the yak in the Bay at the park this afternoon. First couple hours not much going on, a few small sand trout that I released. Water looked pretty good for V-Bay. Then about 45 minutes before sunset it turned on, trout feeding on shrimp, birds diving. Caught a nice stringer of trout in about 30 minutes and then paddled back to the park watching the sunset.

That is a great point. I wonder if you can get a DWI in a Yack. If not I may have to get on for my afternoon trips.

ahh yes PWI..paddling whilst intoxicated!!..

not sure either..but..on another note..I thought I heard a while back that the laws had changed with regard to cool pops (alcholic beverages) on boats..open containers etc.....drinking in the boat etc..not the captain ofcourse ..

does anyone know???

don't know, I personally know a person who got a DWI on a 4 wheeler once, and also heard you could get one on a bike and...a horse Maybe FFF will chime in on this

I know were not immune to the laws on the water, same as real boats. My first yak trip out I got sent back to the landing for not having a life jacket with me. Did not know it was required until I got cked.
